Concrete wall cracking may be an indication of serious structural problems. In any case, cracks in walls should be investigated. Many instances of wall cracking are not serious structural issues but irritating moisture transfer annoyances. Cracks in walls are injected with epoxy resin, under pressure, forcing the epoxy material to infiltrate the crack, filling it. This prevents the potential for moisture or debris to enter the crack area and migrate through the wall into the basement or living area, or through freeze and thaw cycles, forcing the crack to grow.
